2013Naveen “Scott” Pejaver Memorial Debate Swing

Friday through Sunday, November1-3, 2013

Colleagues,

This year MTSU and Union University are partnering up for a Tennessee Swing. The Blue Raider and Bulldog Debate Teamslook forward to offering a well-run, enjoyable tournament. IPDA President Bob Alexander will run the tab room and pizza will be served!

Union & MTSU are hosting a double tournament. The first half is Parli & Team IPDA run by MTSU with Individual IPDA for the second half run by Union. Since MTSU will host the 2013-2014 IPDA National Tournament, this would be a good opportunity to visit the campus and get a feel for the area. If you are a primarily individual events team or NPDA team, IPDA offers your extemp. and impromptu competitors an excellent opportunity to hone their skills. If you are a primarily debate-oriented team, IPDA is a chance to work on audience analysis, persuasion, and critical thinking.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact Dr. Patrick Richeyor Dr. Web Drake by phone or e-mail. We look forward to seeing you.

Sincerely,

Patrick Richey, Director of Forensics
