Archetypes Group Project
We have discussed archetypes; we have read about archetypes; we have looked at examples of archetypes…so, now it is YOUR turn!
Requirements of project:
In a group of no more than 4 members, create a PowerPoint demonstrating your understanding of all three types of archetypes using a film of your choice. Each member will be responsible for a certain number of slides. You will decide which film you will use, but no films can be repeated. First come, first serve!
Your presentation should include 12 slides including:
· Title page
· Summary of plot in YOUR OWN WORDS
· 3 slides for character archetypes
· 3 slides for situational archetypes
· 3 slides for symbolic archetypes
· Works Cited slide
**Make sure you put your name and the type of archetype (character, situational, or symbolic) on EACH of the slides you create. Use images to help improve the look and understanding of your presentation!
Today, you will turn in your proposal, which will include individual member names, which slides each member is responsible for, and who will be responsible for compiling all slides in the final PowerPoint.
You will be graded on the quality of your PowerPoint and your group presentation using the rubric on the back of this handout.
