Application form for prospecting licences

This document contains two forms:

Application form A: General information about applicant and prospecting plans

Application form B: Transfer of licence

Attached to completed and signed application forms, the applicant must submit the newest company report and audited financial statement, or similar information to enable the MLSA to evaluate the financial and technical capabilities of the applicant. The applicant must fill out one form for each licence applied for.

The applicant is encouraged to submit further information that can be relevant in the evaluation of the application.

A correct application contains the following:

1)  Applicant name, address, e-mail and phone number

2)  Indication of the applied standard area

3)  Sufficient information for the MLSA to evaluate the applicant’s financial and technical capabilities

4)  A description of the prospecting plans and goal

5)  Signature

6)  Other relevant information regarding the applicant and the planned activities

For an application to be correct all relevant forms must be filled and submitted.

Payment of the application fee must be done by bank transfer to the Bank of Greenland with indication of applicant’s name. The application fee is DKK 3.000

A written statement declaring that the new licence holder is accepting all commitments regarding the licence, signed by the new licence holder must be attached to the application. The Mineral Licence and Safety Authority can require that a bank guarantee or other form of guarantee is provided.
