Awarding of grants is based on the following:
- Grant awards for technical college instructors employed by districts shall be made by the President or his/her designee
- In determining whether a grant award will be made, based on a particular application, the following criteria shall be applied:
- the potential for improved instruction resulting from participation in the program;
- the need for upgrading the technical college instructor’s skills after considering technological advances in the subject area taught by that instructor;
- the number of grant awards made in that particular geographic area; and
- the availability of funds.
