Finances of WBC and Funding the Future…NOW

Waverly and I can’t express how lucky we are to have a church family like ours. You have been there for us during my fall and rehab. Words can’t express how much we appreciate the meals, cards and flowers. You have been so kind to us. I have about five more weeks of rehab. I’ve begun to practice walking with a cane. It’s hard, but with God’s help and your prayers, I’ll make it. I would like to thank all of you for your prayers and cards during the loss of my sister, Peggy Williamson. I ask for your continued prayers. Thanks to our pastor, Jeremy Evans.

God bless all of you, Joeann and Waverly Horton

The Children’s Events Team would like to thank you for the candy donations and all of the volunteers who helped make the Easter Egg Hunt a huge success. We had over 100 kids hunting eggs, and a lot of visitors came and were able to enjoy the event. A special thanks to John and Lisa Perry and Preston Peterson for heading up the hot dog dinner. And another special thanks to the R.A.s and G.A.s and the adult leaders who came and helped us stuff the eggs with candy. Finally, thanks to the youth who came to help “hide” the eggs. We appreciate you all!!

Wendell Baptist Church wants to express our sincere appreciation for the generous gift of $56,804.91 from Joe W. Todd in his passing. This donation went toward the principal of the bank loan.
