1st Grade Homework/Newsletter Mrs. Beiting’s Class

Homework is an intricate part of your child’s academic learning. Please sit with your child nightly to assist them in their work. Sitting with your child also shows them that you care and value their education.

*DON’T FORGET YOUR DAILY AFTERNOON HEALTHY SNACK!

IMPORTANT!! Whenever your child is reading, make sure they point to the word they are reading. This will teach them to use their finger as a guide and help them keep track of where they are in the passage.

Wednesday: Integrated Arts

Thursday: Library, Math Test today

Thanks for sending in the apples for Johnny Appleseed’s Birthday. The kids loved making the apple butter all though they didn’t all like it! LOL!

A big THANKS to those who sent in Dum-Dum Lollipops for computer time. If you have not sent them in and would still like to contribute - please do! There is always room in my covered lollipop bucket. J

Next week starts our Student Book Time readers! If you see your child’s name in the box at the bottom of the page its your child’s time to pick their favorite picture book at home and practice so they will be ready to read aloud to the class!
