Date: Saturday 21st March, 2015
Venue: Mates4Mates Centre
40 Anne Street (entry via Casey St, opposite 8 Casey St)

Entries Close: Sunday, 8th March, 2015
Entry Fee: $25 per entrant.
Conditions: All entry fees must be paid by the close of entries on Sunday 8th March 2015
All competitors must be current QWA members
Outfit of Competitors: One-piece weightlifting costume;
or
a two-piece outfit consisting of close-fitting shorts and T-shirt or singlet.
The outfit must cover the competitor’s trunk, and be close fitting.
Age Categories Master: Born on or before 31 December 1980
Senior: Born between 1 January 1981 and 31 December 1994
Junior: Born between 1 January 1995 and 31 December 1997
Youth: Born on or after 1 January 1998
Category Awards: Gold, Silver, Bronze medal in each category of:
Senior Male; Senior Female
Junior Male; Junior Female
Youth Male; Youth Female
Placings will be determined by the Sinclair formula
Gold, Silver, Bronze medals in each category of:
Masters Male; Masters Female
Placings will be determined by the Sinclair + Malone Meltzer formulas
Overall Awards: Best Male Trophy
Best Female Trophy
Winners will be determined by the Sinclair formula
Note: Participation in this event is open to all QWA members, however only those who reside within the regional boundaries of Far North Queensland, North Queensland, Mackay, Isaac and Whitsunday (as indicated on the attached map) are eligible to win awards in the North Queensland Open.

Withdrawal of entry notified more than fourteen (14) days prior to the competition will result in the entry fee being refunded in full
Withdrawal of entry notified after fourteen (14) days but up to five (5) days prior to the competition will result in the entry fee being held in credit and applied to the next QWA competition entered into by the original entrant
Withdrawal of entry which is not notified, or is notified less than five (5) days prior to the competition, will result in the full entry fee being forfeited by the entrant.
