BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE
PHILOSOPHY
At World View Christian Center Inc., we believe that the Center or Child’s world should be a warm and caring environment where each child wants to be because he or she feels important.
Our goal is to provide each child with the best possible care and homework completion is the first order of business.
The aftercare program is designed to supplement the educational process and challenge the students to apply skills learned in a fun and loving environment.
After homework, the students are involved in creative clubs, which challenge their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual capacities. The clubs are student interest based and also based on the number of kids that sign up, and could include but not limited to cosmetology, music, speech, bible, comedy, dance, art and etc. More clubs may be added as our student population become more diverse. Students also receive daily afternoon snacks, have outdoor recess (weather permitting) and take periodic short field trips. Auxiliary activities will be offered at a nominal fee.
We thank you for entrusting your child(ren) to our care. We are confident that you have made an excellent choice.

FALL CONTRACT, 2012-2013
Program Duration: August 2012 - June 2013
A Quality Child Care Service and/or Private learning experience will be provided at World View Christian Center under the following conditions and guidelines:
HOURS OF OPERATION
Monday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. However, there is a 10-hour core day for all children, which means your child cannot be at the center for more than 10 hours per day based on the fee that you are charged. Parents of children who are enrolled full-time and need over 10 hours of service per day need to complete an additional enrollment form that can be obtained from the Administrative Office.
Upon completion of this form, the fee will be $3.00 per hour (per child) for any time over 10 hours in a given day. Without this form, parents will be assessed a fee of $5.00 per hour (per child) or portion thereof.
CENTER CLOSING
The center will be closed for one week. This will take place a week before PG Public school systems open for the school year. Parents are not responsible for paying the center for childcare services during this week that the center is closed. Please make other childcare arrangements for your child during this week.
SNOW DAYS/INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of inclement weather, please call the center after 5:00 a.m. for possible delayed openings or closings of the center. It is also posted on Channel 7 News. If the outgoing message on the machine does not state any delayed openings or closures----the Center will open on time. NOTE: Parents are responsible for paying for the delayed openings and closures. If the school closes all day, the fee is $10.00 for the day. If school lets out early, there’s a $5.00 fee per day. If the Center closes down early due to inclement weather, the center will notify all parents via phone or email at least two hours early notifying them as to the emergency closing. Please be certain that all email addresses, work and cell numbers are updated.
REGISTRATION
There is a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee. This is a one-time fee per family. Once paid, there are no more registration fees for your family for all future programming (unless your child has been out of the center for 1 year or more). The first bi-monthly tuition is due upon registering your child. This fee will be prorated (if appropriate) to cover the actual time remaining during the first payment cycle. Also, the center reserves spaces in the Summer Program for every child enrolled during the school year; so it is imperative that a Summer Camp registration form be submitted to the center by March 30th (of any given year) indicating the session(s) your child(ren) will be attending; otherwise, you will be charged for the full summer.
Key Fobs
We use the Key Fob system to enhance the security of our students, staff, and building. A $25.00 deposit per fob is required in order to receive 1 or more key fobs. All parents who regularly pick-up their children are required to have a key fob. If a key fob is lost or stolen, there is a $50.00 replacement fee of which $25.00 is refundable. Also the $25.00 deposit will be returned or applied to the last week’s tuition.
DEPOSIT
There is a deposit due upon registering your child. This deposit is equivalent to one week’s tuition (divide bi-weekly amounts by 2). This amount is applied to your child(ren) tuition after a positive payment relationship has been established (at least 6 months after enrollment date).
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Monthly tuition is due by the 5th of each month without penalty. However, there is also a bi-monthly payment option which also is available. Tuition under this option (bi-monthly) is due no later than the 1st and 15th of each month by 11 am. If the 1st and/or 15th fall on a weekend then tuition is due Friday prior.
Please remember that your regular tuition payment is due to hold your child’s slot (whether or not your child is at the center). Vacation and sick time has already been factored into tuition.
NOTE: If a check bounces, parent/guardians will be expected to pay all back charges immediately and from that point, only a money order will be accepted until further notice, a 35.00 NSF fee is charged on all return checks.
LATE TUITION POLICY
Tuition is due at the center on the 1st of each month. Payments received after the 5th (unless arrangements have been agreed upon) will be assessed a late fee of $25 per day until the payment is received. Continuously making LATE PAYMENTS will jeopardize your child's enrollment.
LATE CHARGE of $8.00 for every 15 minutes or portion thereof (per child) is assessed for any time beyond 6:30 p.m. and payable at the time of pick up.
DISCOUNTS: The multiple family discount as follows:
· The 1st child, pays the regular monthly tuition
· The 2nd child, gets $22.00 off regular monthly tuition
· The 3rd child and remaining children gets $65.00 off the regular monthly tuition
SWEAT EQUITY TUITION
