CRITERIA

The approved course for study under this application is the Graduate Certificate of Education (Special Education) through Flinders University. The course is available to applicants in external mode only through Flinders University.

Applicants must be currently employed as a classroom teacher. Preference will be given to Northern Territory teachers working with students with additional needs.

SELECTION

A selection panel will consider applications and advise of results prior to enrolment cut-off date.

ENROLMENT PROCESS FOR SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS

Successful applicants must apply for admission via the SATAC website (i.e. refer to postgraduate page of the SATAC website and click apply http://www.satac.edu.au/postgraduate. Return proof of enrolment with this form to no later than Friday 16 June 2017.

Successful applicants must enrol on a part-time basis (two units per semester) as full-fee paying students.

100% of fees will be reimbursed (two units per semester) once proof of successful unit completion and proof of payment of fees is received by Department of Education (DoE) at the end of each semester. Only successfully completed units will be reimbursed.

All other costs incurred related to this course will be reimbursed such as SATAC site processing fee $68.00 and Student Fees of $19.00 per ‘EXT’ topic undertaken.

Applicants must follow the suggested sequence of units as outlined in the UNIT DETAILS & FEES section within this document.
