Citibank Appoints New Retail Sales & Distribution Head in CzechRepublic

PRAGUE–Jan Remr has been appointed as new Head of Retail Sales & Distribution in Citi Czech Republic, effective July 2011.Hewill be a key member of the retail bank team atCitibank, which aims to develop and implement innovative and value added products and services which meet our customers’ highest expectations and lead to an their excellent satisfaction. Within his new team Jan will be responsible for the management of retail branches, sales performance and service quality.

”Jan is a very experienced and highly-regarded banking professional who we are confident will help us meet our ambitious goals in the retail business,” said Petr Rehak, Citi Retail Bank Head in the CzechRepublic.

Jan Remr started his career in the banking industry in Komerční banka in the sales business. Later on he joined eBanka, where he was responsible for management of distribution channels. Before joining Citibank, Jan worked as a Regional Director of retail sector in Raifeissenbank, where he was responsible for sales and financial results of the division as well as the overall regional business strategy. He graduated from the University of Economics Prague in 2001 and participated in CEMS program at NorwegianSchool of Business Administration in Bergen.
