Sports Marketing Bio:

In the past my passion for sports was intense, love the fact that I could compete at any level, at any sport. Now I still have that competing passion but its not competing with others but competing with myself, to become better in school, work, and life itself. In the past I participated in baseball, football, basketball, and track. I always had a starting position in all that I played in. My favorite sport at first was baseball but then I started playing football and I fell in love. Now I’m currently not playing any sports. The only time I play anything is usually holidays like thanksgiving because back home we have a turkey bowl every year. It’s the rookies who are under 21 years of age and the veterans who are over 21 years of age. So that’s held yearly but other than that I play basketball at least once a month just to see how out of shape I am. It’s hard to do any physical activities when you’re in school full time and work full time, time scarce. The only thing I can do is go to the gym. I wasn’t going to the gym at all before but since last June I got tired of being out of shape and losing my physic so instead of sleeping 6 to 7 hours at night; I started waking up at 530 in the morning to go to the gym. It was hard and fatiguing at first because I wasn’t use to it but after a month I was good to go. For awhile now I have been waking up at 6 and going to the gym, then be at work by 830, then be at school at 6pm and get out at 10 or when it’s a good night get out at 930. So that’s my schedule, which is tough. I know I don’t have to do it, but it’s the self satisfaction that gives me the will power to get up every morning. My future plans are to keep going to the gym, finish school next quarter and finding a career in marketing. I currently work for Bank of America so I will try to stay with the banking but who knows what the future has in stored for me…I just like taking it a stepping stone at a time.
