Zumba Gold

Zumba Gold is a series of fitness programs specifically designed to take the exciting Latin and International dance rhythms created in the original Zumba and bring them to the beginners of Zumba, active older adults or deconditioned adults, and was created to emphasize the basics. This explosive program is so easy to follow that everyone, any age can do it! This fun Latin inspired dance program includes Merengue, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Cumbia, Belly Dance, Flamenco, Tango and Rock and Roll. The Gold work out is great for the mind, body and soul! LET THE PARTY BEGIN!

Buying and Selling on eBay

Wednesdays 6:30 to 8:00 April 18, 25 Location: Westfield School, Rm. # 118 Registration Fee: $20 Instructor: Beckie Ross

The first night will focus on setting up an eBay account, watching, bidding and buying on eBay. The second night we will go through listing an item to sell. We will discuss possible pitfalls and also the advantages of setting up a PayPal account.

AAA Western and Central New York offers you the NYS Dept. of Motor Vehicles 5-hour pre-licensing course. This is the minimal requirement necessary to schedule and take a road test; this 5-hour course will provide the MV-278 certificate.

Spanish for the Tourist

Tuesdays from: 5:30 to 6:30

Instructor: Monica Knoll

This class will focus on speaking in practical situations which will include vocabulary and answering questions that will come up frequently. This class will be most useful for adults because it will be modeled around what comes up in travel situations and when meeting people for the first time.

6 Hour Defensive Driving Course

June 2 9:00am to 3:30pm Location: Room 306 Registration Fee: AAA members $35 and non-members $41.00 You need to pre-register for this class at or by calling 1-800-836-CLUB

This 6-hour course provides drivers with tips and techniques on how to be safer drivers by reducing risk. Concepts include: proper management of visibility, time, and space; handling emergencies; driver and passenger safety; and driving behaviors.

Upon completion of the course, licensed drivers can lower portions of their insurance premium by up to 10% for 3 years as well as reduce up to 4 points from their driving record for moving violations within the last 18 months.

Introduction to Desktop Publishing

Thursdays 6:30 to 8:00 April 19 and 26 Location: Room #135 Registration Fee: $20 Instructor: Steve Holmberg

In this introduction to desktop publishing class participants will learn the basics of using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher to create documents, pamphlets and presentations. This will include inserting pictures, clipart, hyperlinks and some other helpful tools to take your creations to the next level.
