STEP / DESCRIPTION
1 / Read through the Qualification details at ABS Website > Qualification
2a / 2b / Existing Student – Log in to the Student Portal using the User ID (NRIC/Passport No) and password
New Applicant – Click on the "Register" button for the respective qualification to create a new log in ID
3 / New applicant require to create the login ID:
Name
NRIC/Passport
Email
4 / Applicant will receive the details on the login ID via the e-mail address entered
5 / Individual membership is required for the following qualifications:
Chartered Banker Qualification
Professional Credit Certification Qualification
Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism Qualification
Regulatory Compliance Qualification
Registration and renewal of the membership to be routed to the Membership portal.
6 / a)Complete the online Application Form and submit together with the relevant documents required.
b)Applications will only be processed upon receipt of full and complete application and documentation failing which it will not be processed.
c)Applicants who submit incomplete applications (i.e. incomplete details or incomplete supporting documents) will be given five working days to provide the required information and/or documentation, failing which the application will not be processed.
d)Applicants will be informed of the Institute’s decisions within 10 working days from date of application (upon receipt of full and complete documentation) for qualifications and experience already assessed.
e)Where the applicant’s qualifications have not been previously assessed by the Institute, the processing time will be longer.
f)The enrolment and exemptionclosing date for the respective examination sittings are as follows:
  • Enrolment application closing date – refer to the respective qualification study plan at the qualification tab in the AICB website.
  • Exemption application deadline – three months before the examination closing date.

7 / Application submitted will be assessed by AICB.
8 / Log in to the Student Portal to register and pay for the qualification module(s) and exam(s)
* / Applications will be processed within 10 working days from date of application submitted (upon receipt of full and complete documentation) for qualifications and experience that have already been assessed.
Where the applicant’s qualifications have not been previously assessed by the Institute, the processing time will be longer (approximately 3 months).
