My Little Stars Nursery School

2017 - 2018

Thank you for your interest in My Little Stars Nursery School

Our Nursery

My Little Stars Nursery School is a privately owned and was established in 2004 under the expertise of Mrs. Manjit Nijjer, who has over 23 years’ experience working with children.

The nursery itself is purpose built to OFSTED specification, therefore putting the children’s' welfare first and foremost. Great emphasis has been placed on the design and layout in order to provide first class facilities.

The Nursery School is registered and inspected by OFSTED. Our Last Inspection was in February 2015, and rewarded ‘Good, aspiring towards Outstanding’, with ‘Outstanding achievements’.

We operate an ‘open door’ policy and welcome you at any time to visit your child or to discuss any aspects of your childcare. We also understand that you may want reassurance that your child is happy, particularly in the settling in period, and we are happy for you to call us anytime throughout your child’s session.

We always welcome any contributions or suggestion from parents and endeavour to provide a tailored approach to childcare, respecting each of our children as individuals.

Copies of our policies are available on request.

The aim of this information pack is to provide you with a brief introduction to our nursery and an overall feel for the way we work and our approach to encourage and support the children’s Learning and Development.

Placing a child in nursery is, of course, one of the most important and often difficult decisions that as a parent you will face. At My Little Stars Nursery School, we feel it is important that you feel happy in the knowledge that your child / children will be cared for and loved just as they are at home, whilst benefiting from the same traditions and values.

My Little Stars Nursery School is a private nursery, which is dedicated to offering children the best opportunity to play, discover, learn and grow. Our main aim is to provide the highest standard of childcare and early education in a secure and caring environment.

We strongly believe in personal communication and we pride ourselves in our ‘Partnership with parents’ philosophy. We feel privileged to have the opportunity to provide feedback to parents on a daily basis. This communication is a two-way process and it is important to us to give parents and children exactly what they need from their childcare professionals.

Happy children are confident learners and they are happy when they are safe and loved. We only employ carefully screened and qualified staff who understand that the way they talk, encourage, praise and support will influence your child’s self-esteem.

We hope that you find this information pack informative and would be delighted to show you round the nursery in the near future.

With kind regards,

Manjit Nijjer
