Dear Parent,

I’m pleased to be able to tell you about an exciting trip the {…..} Department is planning for {Year 10s}.

We will be staying in {……} from {April 8} to {April 12, 2014}.

{School name} has chosen to travel with Equity; they are market leaders in providing successful school ski toursto a choice of resorts across Europe and North America. They are completely financially protected by ABTA and ATOL, meaning in the event of any unlikely unexpected occurrence your money is protected. Equity are also accredited by ‘Learning Outside the Classroom’ and the School Travel Forum;both organisationswhich support excellence in the planning and delivery of highly successful school ski trips.

The cost of the {…..} trip is {£XXX}.This price includes {airfares/coaching}, full board accommodation, lift passesand ski equipment hire including helmets.The tour will offer participants4 hours of ski tuition per day with fully qualified staff and willinclude a city stopover in {…..} as well as a variety of evening entertainments. Payment can be made {in installments via ParentPay …}.

We will be giving further details and an opportunity for you to ask questions at the trip meeting for parents and students on {October 23 at 6:30pm}.

Thisis a fantastic opportunity for your son or daughter to engage with their classmates in an unfamiliar setting, discover new places and ideas and most importantly further develop theirown skiing skills.
