Pouch that contains the testicles. It holds the testicles away from the body. In order to produce gametes, testicles must be kept at a temperature slightly lower that body temperature.
They contain the Seminiferous tubules
They produce an average of 400 million male gametes a day
The spermatozoa produces are stored in this small, elongated organ lying above the testicles
The spermatozoa enter this tube before being released outside the body during ejaculation
They produce semen, the fluid that contains and nourishes spermatozoa. Semen helps spermatozoa move and is rich in sugar. It provides the male gametes with the energy for swimming after they are released into a woman’s vagina during ejaculation.
The semen flows through this tube during male ejaculation. It also carried urine from the bladder to outside the body.
The male organ for sexual intercourse, reproduction, and urination. It’s purpose is to deposit semen in the vagina during sexual intercourse.

Female Reproductive Organ / PurposeA hollow, pear shaped organ. A zygote develops in the uterus if the ovum is fertilized by a spermatozoon.
A woman has two of these. They take turns releasing one ovum about every 28 days. This is called ovulation
The neck or opening of the uterus. It dips down about half an inch into the vagina. It is normally plugged by mucus. It stays tightly closed during pregnancy, but thins and opens for the delivery of the baby.
The ovum released by the follicle travels through the fallopian tubes to reach the uterus. An ovum survives between 24 and 48 hours in the fallopian tubes, where it can be fertilized.
The passage which the penis penetrates to release its sperm. The baby also leaves the uterus through the vagina during birth.
The center of sexual sensation and stimulation in the female. It is composed of erectile tissues and many sensitive nerve endings. It is found where the folds of the labia meet in the front.
Two folds of skin below the vaginal opening. The labia are covered with pubic hair and contain many touch sensitive receptors.
They are located in the ovaries. Each one contains a single ovum, and brings it to full maturity.
