FR. FRANK’S TURKEY PLATE SALE – SEPT. 16TH Fr. Frank is sponsoring a Turkey Plate Sale with all the trimmings. Event will take place in the Community Center from 11:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 16th. Tickets are on sale now. Pick up a few to sell to your relatives and neighbors. This is one meal you won’t want to miss!

GOING GREEN – AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE: Parents, we will not be sending out a paper version of our weekly newsletter this year. This first one, and hopefully only one, will be given to your children with the hope that it makes it into your hands. However, history has shown us that they usually end up at the bottom of the backpack, never to be seen again. You may pick up a paper version of any newsletter by coming into the school and asking the office staff to give you one. Grandparents can also pick one up in the plexiglass holders at the school entrance. All newsletters will be sent to you via RENWEB, so please keep your email address up to date.

EARLY DISMISSAL DAY REMINDER First Early Dismissal will be on Friday Sept. 1st. Parents, please add to your calendars. Daycare will be available at the Drop-In Rate of $15.00 flat fee!

HELP NEEDED: SERVICE HOURS WILL APPLY – ELECTRICIAN, BLACKTOP WEED REMOVAL/MOWING, ETC., MARKETING COMMITTEE. Let us know what you can do to help us improve our school! It takes a GREAT TEAM to build a GREAT school!

FEDERAL LUNCH PROGRAM- Parents, it is very important that you turn in your paperwork for the Federal Breakfast and Lunch Program. This paperwork is necessary if your child/children are to receive the Free/Reduced Lunch. Turn it to the office as soon as possible.

MONETARY FINE $$$ FOR STUDENT TARDIES - Parents, Tardiness is VERY disruptive to the students in the class as well as to the teacher. The First Bell rings at 7:55 a.m. & the Tardy Bell rings at 8:00 a.m. Please read your Parent/Student handbook for more information on the tardy policies. Starting Monday, there will be a $5.00 FINE added to your tuition account for every time you arrive after the 8:00 bell! Be a positive role model for your children and BE ON TIME!

10/07/17 -ST. LEO SCHOOL & PARISH FESTIVAL – YOUR HELP NEEDED! – Parents you will be assigned booth service hours during the annual festival. Remember that MOST of the funds from this parish festival will be used for your children’s education at St. Leo the Great School. Please start looking for deals on BRAND NAME CANS of Big Red, Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, 7UP, Root Beer, Brisk Tea, and lots of Water! EVERY FAMILY MUST BRING: 2 Cases of both sodas and 2 of water per child or $25.00 per child. Any family that does not bring in the required items will be charged $25.00 on 10/09/17. This will be automatically drawn from your bank account through FACTS. DONATIONS NEEDED FOR OUR FESTIVAL BOOTHS: Chicken Fajita Meat, Tortillas, Salsa, Stuffed Animals, Toys for Game Booths.

IMMUNIZATIONS Just a reminder to bring in updated shot records to the office. Notices will go out to those parents who have not brought in immunizations records or other missing documents for files.

UNIFORM UPDATE - We want to thank all the parents for their patience while Parker Uniforms works on filling orders. For safety reasons, we would like for you to make sure the girls are not wearing hoop earrings. If they come to school in them, they will have to remove them. Girls wear their ties every day, and boys wear them on Thursday. Also, please make sure all nail polish is removed before students come to school. If you have any questions, call the office.

CELL PHONES ARE NEVER ALLOWED! Please make sure your student complies as there is a $50.00 Fine for bringing a cell phone onto campus and possible disciplinary actions.

ASSIGNMENT BOOKS - Parents, if you did not pay for your child(rens) assignment book at Orientation; then it will be added to your next tuition payment. New Parents need to purchase bibles @ $15.00 for each child.

CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS- Any person that will be picking up children, attending events with children, or participating in any school events, MUST complete a Criminal Background Check. Please pick up paperwork in the office and submit it immediately.

SPIRIT T-SHIRT FORMS – EARLY BIRD SPECIAL! Spirit T-Shirt forms will be given out soon. The deadline for the Early Bird price will be Sept. 01, 2017. On 09/05/17, prices will go up. Parents, be sure to get your order in. Extra forms will be located in the office if you need them. Students are able to wear these T-Shirts for field trips, early dismissal days & other School Activities.

ANNUAL GRANDPARENTS DAY MASS- On Thursday, Sept. 7th, Fr. Frank will celebrate Mass with a special blessing for all Grandparents. After Mass the Grandparents will be invited back to the school for a game of fun and refreshments. We invite our Grandparents to join us on this special day. Refreshments will be served! We need donations of Prizes for the Grandparents. Please look around the house for gifts you have received that you would like to donate as prizes.
