6. President's Report:
I like to Welcome everyone back. I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday and a Happy New Year.
Ø Annual Awards Scholarship Banquet: - Reminder - our annual Awards Banquet is scheduled for January 16, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. The location is: The Bridgewater Manor, 1251 Route 202/206 in Bridgewater, NJ 08807. I would really like to see everyone in the section come out to support our Scholars/Awardees and have an enjoyable evening. We are looking for Sponsors, so please check out the Central Section – Events page on our web site for the flyer.
Ø Our NJWEA Budget meeting is scheduled for January 15th at 10:00am at the Sheraton in Eatontown, NJ. Treasurer, Emil Nemec and I will be in attendance on behalf of the Central Section.
Ø The NJWEA Executive meeting is scheduled for February 12th 2016 at 8:30 a.m. at the Sheraton in Eatontown.
Ø The 2016 Council of Delegates meeting is scheduled for April 22nd 2016 at 8:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Eatontown. It will not be held at the Annual NJWEA Conference in Atlantic City this year.
Please Note: 2016 Central Section Delegates & Alternates please make arrangements to attend the Delegate’s meeting on April 22nd in Eatontown at the Sheraton.

Robert Pennington stepped down as Central Section Scholar Awards Chair; Robert Noel volunteered and is now appointed as the new Central Section Scholar Awards Chair.
James Lafferty declined the spot as Elected Member for the State Association; Jill Plesnarski will continue as the Elected Member for the next two years.
I like to give the First Reading of the new Central Section officers which is scheduled to commence after the NJWEA Conference in May 2016.

During our last meeting in December, I discussed relocating our monthly meetings back to our previous location; Yesterday’s in Hazlet. With a poll of hands raised it became evident the majority of members expressed agreement. I then contacted Yesterdays’ in Hazlet and they are willing to accommodate our monthly meetings at their facility and they are happy to have the C.S. return.
Please note: Our next Central Section business meeting will be held on February 10th 2016; the meeting will be held at Yesterday’s Restaurant, 3153 Rt. 35 in Hazlet, NJ 07730.
7. Vice President's Report: Welcome back hope everyone had a nice holiday. Just a reminder our annual awards banquet is this Saturday, January 16th hope you all can come.
