7. “I’ll huff and I’ll puff and I’ll blow your house down.” Stretch this object several times and inhale as much air as you can and exhale forcefully into the balloon. Pinch the end of the balloon and measure its diameter with a string. Record the measurement. Repeat this procedure two more times and take the average. Convert the average diameter to a volume using the graph and record your approximation. The average volume is your vital lung capacity or the maximum amount of air moved in and out of your lungs.
