Classroom Rules:
1. Be in your seat when the tardy bell rings.
2. No food or drinks in my classroom (water is okay, but that’s it).
3. Be respectful of the space and property of other students.
4. No foul language.
5. Stay in your assigned seat.
6. Turn in assignments on time.
Attendance: You must attend school daily. If you miss more than 2 days of summer school, then you will be dropped. If you are frequently tardy, you also risk being dropped. Please sign to ensure that you have read the summer school attendance policy.

Grading: All assignments are given a designated points value. Student work is graded based on quality, accuracy, and completeness. Assignments must be turned in on-time in order to achieve full credit. All points are totaled up in the computer and a percentage score is calculated.
Grade / A / B / C / D / FPercentage / 90%-100% / 80%-89% / 70%-79% / 60%-69% / 59% and below
Film Permission: I will be showing the film, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, to supplement our class reading of the book, Night. The film is a fictitious account of a German boy’s experiences during the holocaust. The film is rated PG-13 for some mature thematic material involving the Holocaust. Please sign below if you give your child permission to watch The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.
