Class Work

*Reading-Students will be continuing to learn the long o spelling o_e and reading stories about learning and school. Students will read A Home for Foxon Thursday night.

*Memory–We believe that Jesus died and rose again. 1 Thessalonians 4:14

*Students will recite memory on Thursday, they will need to say the verse and where it is found in the Bible.

*Math-Shapes; Math homework will be Tuesday night.

*Science-Matter; Spring

*Social Studies- Our Country ;We will be talking about the different states in our country. Please send in 1 to 5 quarters with a different state on it. We are doing the lesson on Thursday and Friday.

News

I will be gone on Monday taking my mom to the doctor in Indianapolis. If you have immediate concerns or questions on Monday please call the school office otherwise you can email or fast direct me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you to everyone who brought in treats for our Easter celebration! Thank you to Chad and his family for the Easter eggs and stickers.

At the end of the year students will receive a class book which will include information about each student along with some of their favorites. One of those favorites will be their favorite food with the recipe. Please send in your child’s favorite recipe by May 1 so we can get started on the books. Thank you!

If your child has a summer birthday and would like to celebrate their birthday at school, let me know when you would like to send treats into school. Students do not have to celebrate their birthday at school; I would just like to give everyone an opportunity. Thank you!

We will be going to the Indianapolis Children's Museum on Monday, May 22. If you would like to go with our class on this trip please let me know by May 6. The money for the trip is also due on May 6. Thank you!
