Class restrictions
- Dogs may be entered in one category only i.e. Grade 1-2, Grade 3-4 or Grade 6-7 and must stay in the same category for the whole series.
- GRADE 1 (ELEMENTARY) For owners, handlers or dogs which have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows. NB–Owners, handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 1 (Elementary) are not eligible for this class.
- GRADE 2 (STARTERS) For owners, handlers or dogs which have qualified out of Grade 1 but have not gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 2 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows, or elected to progress on points from Grade1 NB – Owners, handlers or dogs previously qualified out of Grade 2 (Starters) are not eligible for this class.
- GRADE 3 (GRADUATE) Open to dogs which are not eligible for Grades 1 or 2, or have elected to progress on points from Grade 2 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and dogs which are not eligible for Grade 4, 5, 6 or 7.
- GRADE 4 (NOVICE) Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 3, or elected to progress on points from Grade 3 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grade 3, 5, 6 or 7.
- GRADE 5 (INTERMEDIATE) Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 4, or elected to progress on points from Grade 4 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grade 3, 4, 6 or 7.
- GRADE 6 (SENIOR) Open to dogs which have gained a first place in an Agility Class or three first places in Jumping Classes at Grade 5 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows and are not eligible for Grades 3, 4, 5 or 7.
- GRADE 7 (ADVANCED) Open to dogs which have gained a minimum of four first places at Grade 6 at Kennel Club licensed Agility Shows, two first places must be gained in Agility (not Jumping) Classes.
- LARGE: Open only to dogs measuring over 43cm at the withers
- MEDIUM: Open only to dogs measuring over 35cm and 43cm or under at the withers.
- SMALL: Open only to dogs measuring 35cm or under at the withers.
- Any Size Jumping: Open to any dog NOT entered in any other Class over 18 calendar months old.
- Dogs can be entered in either ABC or NBC classes not both

Class Definitions
- Large: Open only to dogs measuring over 43cm at the withers
- Medium: Open only to dogs measuring over 35cm and 43cm or under at the withers.
- Small: Open only to dogs measuring 35cm or under at the withers
- Steeple chase -Jumping class with no weaves
- Circular jumping - Jumping class with weaves
- Helter Skelter- Spiral jumping course with weaves
- Power and Speed - A Frame, Dog walk, seesaw, spread, long jumpand weaves to be completed without fault. Competitors may then attempt a timed jumping course with jumps and tunnels only.
- Beat the Judge - A standard agility course with a time set by the Judge in a sealed envelope. Dogs completing the course in a quicker time than that which the Judge has stated will not be considered in the final places.
- Any size Jumping- A jumping class with no weaves. Large dogs at 35cm,Small and Medium dogs at 20 cm
- Pairs – Open to pairs of dogs who compete at the same height e.g. large, Med or Small.
- Mix and Match Pairs- One small dog with either large or medium pair
- ABC - Anything other than collies or their crosses
- NBC - Only collies and collie crosses

Masters Series rules
- This is a point accumulator final.Qualifying runsare held in the October through to the February shows.
- Points will be awarded at each competition in the qualifying rounds. For example 20th place = 1point up to 1st place = 20 points. These classes are clearly marked with a ‘Q’on the schedule and only these classes will count towards the final.
- The final will be held at the March 1st 2008 show.
- The top 10% from each category will be invited to compete in the final.
- The final will be over one round of agility
- All Grade 1-2 dogs to compete over the same course
- All Grade 3-5 dogs to compete over the same course
- All Grade 6-7 dogs to compete over the same course
- The winner of each category (Small, Medium and large) will be awarded the Masters Series Trophy.
Magic Mutts Any SizeRules
- This is a point accumulator final.Qualifying runs from the October through to the February shows.

Veteran class sponsored by BATHSTORE and supported by IT BARKS Rules
- Open to large WSD/BC who are 10years of age or over and must not be entered in any other class at this show.
- Open to large ABC who are 7years of age or over and must not be entered in any other class at this show.
- It is expected that these Veteran dogs are now only being entered in Veteran or Any Size jumping classes to take up the true spirit of Veteran classes.
- Hurdles will be set at 45cm with no Tyre, Spread or long jump used in the design of the course
- Obstacles min 15 max 20 one of which will be 6 weaves. Open flowing course to be designed.
- Class 25 BS/WSD top four placing’s will be invited to the final and Class 26 ABC the top three placing’s will be invited to the final which will be announced during 2007. Dogs already qualified may run in further heats for competition. In the event that some have already qualified, the next placing down will be invited to the final. Surrogate handlers may be appointed if the original handler is not able to run but this must be notified to the organisers as soon as possible. Once invited to the final confirmation of attendance must be received within 7days otherwise the next placing from a heat will be invited.
Show Rules:
- All dogs must be entered on the form, including non-competing dogs (NFC)
- No bitches in season will be allowed to compete, and no mating of bitches allowed at the show.
- No dogs that have been in contact with, or exposed to, any infectious or contagious diseases in the 3 weeks prior to the show, to be brought to the show.
- All competing dogs must be aged 18 calendar months or over on day of competition.
- No harsh handling or ill treatment to any dog within the show.
- Dogs must be kept under control, and on lead, except when competing or within the exercise area.
- No collars to be attached to the dog whilst competing, unless it is a flat K.C. regulation type with no tags.
- Please respect the venue, & clean up after your dogs. Skips for waste will be provided.
- Please respect our Judges & ring parties.
- The Judge’s decision will be final.
- Barking Mad Agility reserves the right to refuse entries.
- All dogs & competitors enter at their own risk, and must sign and date the declaration on the entry form
- Competitors are responsible for ensuring that they are available for their classes
- Please park only where directed.
- In the unlikely event of the show being cancelled all unrecoverable expenses will be defrayed before monies are refunded.
- Please only use the designated areas i.e car parking, exercise & competing areas. All other areas are out of bounds.
- A £5 charge will be made for returned cheques.
- The whole series can be entered with individual cheques dated within the correct closing period.
- Requests for refunds will not be considered once the show has reached its closing date or when closed by reaching the numbers limit.
- Best gundog trophy best border and crosses trophy and best BSD trophy it is up to the competitor to see that their ticket is clearly marked if they wish their dogs points to be counted for one of the above trophies. Trophies will be awarded at the finals in March.
