World Vision is seeking a customer focused, professionally mature, and well organized HR HelpDesk Associate to join our HRIS team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a seasoned Human Resources team to maintain strong customer service and share broad HR knowledge in a caring compassionate manner to better serve our US employees. This role requires a great collaborator, active listener, problem solver, and communicator (both verbally and written) who is self-motivated by delivering excellent results.

·  Provide prompt responses to employee questions and providing information available on the World Vision intranet related to HR policies, procedures, benefits, training opportunities and systems.

·  Researching, troubleshooting, and resolving HRIS systems and login issues for users.

·  Keeping up-to-date on benefits and policy changes; guiding employees through Open Enrollment processes; performance appraisal cycles, etc.

·  Issuing workforce ID numbers and maintaining control log.

·  Reserve meeting rooms as requested.

·  Participated in HR Team daily devotions and attended an awesome chapel.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Assist World Vision US Human Resources group with technical support in several areas including employment, records, benefits, compensation, etc., by providing customer service and tools to staff and management, and performing project work as assigned. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

·  Keep Christ central in our individual and corporate lives. Attend and participate in the leadership of devotions, weekly Chapel services, and regular prayer.

·  Staff the HR HelpDesk providing high level of customer service. Respond in a timely manner to employees and managers with questions regarding human resource policies and procedures and status of human resource transactions (some confidential) within the area of responsibility.

·  Collaborate with and support Human Resources team to ensure organizational HR efforts are well coordinated and timely.

·  Serve as a subject matter expert for one or more human resource systems or processes (e.g. recruitment, unemployment, temporary staffing) providing guidance and direction to both HR staff and managers as needed. May serve as application administrator for one or more human resource automated system (e.g., HR Access, Source, Applicant Database).

·  Coordinate, complete necessary documentation, and ensure that human resource processes, procedures, guidelines, policies, manuals, confidential records, and forms are maintained in an organized manner and kept current.

·  Provide operational support which may include but is not limited to: monitoring department budgets, reviewing and editing reports, preparing correspondence, completing surveys, coordinating interviews, handling incoming phones calls, placing employment ads, and processing mail.

·  Stay abreast of human resources trends and laws.

·  Collaborate with team members to accomplish successful outcomes.

·  Perform other duties as assigned.

·  Keep informed of organizational announcements, activities and changes via regular reading of the WVUS Intranet and other corporate communication tools.

Required Experience:

·  Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.

·  Demonstrated ability toproactively identify opportunities,andrecommend solutions, forcontinuous process improvements.

·  Experience with Visio and Microsoft Project preferred.

·  Previous experience ina HelpDeskteam environment with the proven ability to multi-task in a complex work environment.

·  Two-year technical or junior college degree or equivalent work experience (four years). Work experience in human resources or related field, 2 years. -OR- Bachelor’s degree in related field, with related experience preferred.
