Information about me:

I, James the III, succeeded my father in 1460, when he tragically died in an accident involving exploding cannons.

As previously stated, I was born somewhere in Great Britain, I’m not quite sure where. I was crowned king as an 8-year-old hatchling. My mother Marie of Gueldes ruled in my minority until her death in 1463. Then I went off and got myself married to Margaret of Denmark under whose dowry Orkney and Shetland were ceded from Danish rule to Scotland. I also had several extremely close male friends.

Sadly, I was weak and unpopular. My unpopularity might have been due to my unwillingness to administer justice fairly and what’s more my family hated me, just as much as I despised them. I hope to nevermore bear witness to such a disastrous prolonged event. I shalt exploit my power as reigning king and they art to be exorcised from my domain!

The Scottish nobles became increasingly disaffected by my weakness and bisexuality, and when I conferred an earldom on my boyfriend John Ramsay they called for my 15-year-old son James to proclaim the throne. Those who remained faithful to me, James III, were routed at Sauchieburn near Bannockburn and I fled to Milltown where I was fatally stabbed by a man dressed as a priest. It was ever such a humiliating defeat.
