2017 Business Awards finalists announced

Finalists in the 2017City of Melton Business Excellence Awards have been announced.

The 28 finalists were announced at a special presentation ceremony at Galli Estate on Thursday (3 August) to recognise their achievements.

Shortlisted businesses will be vying for one of 10 awards, including the special Mayoral Achievement Award,and the highly coveted City of Melton Business of the Year award.

Mayor of the City of Melton, Cr Sophie Ramsey, said it had been an incredibly competitive year.

“The City of Melton Business Excellence Awards are an ideal opportunity to recognise the top achieving businesses in our City,” Cr Ramsey said.

“On behalf of Council, I would like to congratulate each of our finalists. We can't wait to find out who takes out each category at the Awards Gala Dinner on 1 September.

“We’re incredibly grateful for each of the businesses who put their hands up to sponsor the event, without whom the business awards could not have been possible.”

General Mangerof Quest Apartments Caroline Springs, Natalie Bui,said she was pleased to see so many new businesses nominate and participate in this year’s awards.

“As a previous multiple-award winner, we felt the next step was to give something back to the Awards and local business community via sponsorship and mentoring,” Ms Bui said.
