What is the Bi-State Education Consortium?
The Bi-State Stroke Education Consortium is composed of eleven area hospitals and the American Stroke Association. These organizations have agreed to collaborate to enhance the educational opportunities for providers of stroke care at all levels of practice. Continuing educational credit will be provided by each sponsoring agency.

Course Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the active learner will:
- Identify supports & barriers to stroke survivors participating in the community
- Be able to practice exercise techniques and list the objectives of working with stroke survivors to improve overall wellness & mobility
- Identify current communication strategies for aphasia and implementation in a group setting
- Recognize typical outcomes of music therapy with the stroke survivor and caregiver and know how to find an MT or get further information
