November 2013
A Message From The Principal:
First Term Report Cards were issued on November 15. I am quite pleased by the number of students attaining Honour Roll this term. Please take a look at the Honour Roll within the Newsletter.
Our Volleyball teams had another great season. The Sr. Boy’s team played at the Provincial Championships in Duncan and represented SSS and the community of Sparwood very well.
Starting in December we will have a new website, you will be able to access it the same way at: www.sss.sd5.bc.ca.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff at SSS, as well as the coaches who coach our athletes, for the commitment they make to the students of our school and community.
Our School Goal for this year is: “To enable all students to meet or exceed grade level learning outcomes in all subject areas.” It focus’s on preparing our students for the future, so they can graduate and be successful, while working in a safe and caring environment. Looking at the Honour Roll for this term, our goal will be reachable.
