When the program loads it will check the login status of the device. The system will download the 7 day EPG and then you'll be given the option of LIVE TV or VOD. Select LIVE TV for access to over 950 channels and select VOD for over 2,000 movies and TV shows on demand.

To enter a new code select LIVE TV and in the white box under Account Info, type in your code, select NEXT and then OK. If the code is valid it will recharge the service with the corresponding amount of time.

To select your country, press select when the default channel plays and then navigate to the left hand side and highlight UK (for example) and press select, all the UK channels available will now be displayed, press right to move over to the channel listings and use up and down and select to choose the channel you want to watch.

To change channel when another is playing simply press up or down.

To see what's on (EPG) you press select when a channel is playing. Press right when a channel is highlighted to get detailed programme information. To reveal the seven day guide press the menu button when the channel listings are displayed. You will then move the orange box around to different days and times by pressing the menu button again - you can also get detailed programme information of a programme two days in advance for example by pressing select when the listing is highlighted. Press back to exit the guide at any stage.

To get the Account Info screen back up and see when the code expires press the menu button (three lines) when a channel is playing.

To rewind you will press left – this can only be done for up to one hour (on most channels) if you have had it on that channel for that amount of time or longer.

To exit the program you will press back twice or three times depending on the stage you are at within the program.

To CLEAR CACHE if the program becomes slow or freezes – press the menu button when a channel is playing and then select MISC, then choose the CLEAR CACHE option. This will free up memory on your device and give the IPTV system the memory it needs to operate correctly.

To add channels to a favourites list – press the menu button when a channel is playing and then select FAV MANAGE. You can the select and deselect the channels you want to be listed in your favourites folder. To get your favourites folder up you will press select when a channel is playing and move the highlighter down and select the FAV folder under country listing.

To add the XXX adult channels press the menu button when a channel is playing and type 1827 in the account info screen white box and select next and then ok, you will then see an unlocked message. These channels can be found in the XXX folder. When you first choose a channel you'll need to enter the code again (1827) then OK. Each time you exit iView these channels will disappear (so kids and alike don't accidentally find them) and are simply added back by completing the process again.

The controls are very simple, the service is totally amazing and even the installation process only takes minutes (just ask for our installation video or go to the IPTV section of our website to watch it).

UPDATES

The application will automatically update, all you need to do is say INSTALL once the new version has downloaded and you are prompted to do so, after loading iView HD. Updates add great new features and improve quality and fix any issues. An update will never disrupt your device's setup, and once it has completed installation you'll select DONE. Now when you load the iView HD app you'll be using the latest version.

NEW VOD SECTION

In version 1.1.40 (from the 15th Dec 2016) you'll be faced with LIVE TV or VOD options when you first load the app. VOD is where you'll find all the latest movies and TV shows on offer, on demand. If you want to skip the VOD and LIVE TV choice at the beginning please tick the 'DIRECT TO TV' box. To pause and then play VOD press select when content is playing, left and right on the remote control will rewind and fast forward.

ISSUES WHEN USING LOW SPEC DEVICES & DECODING MODE

There is now an option specifically available to enhance the users experience when running the service on a low specification device, such as a FIRESTICK. If when using the service you encounter issues when changing the channel for example, experience constant freezing, sticking, slower or faster playback than usual or other similar problems then you may need to change the DECODING MODE.

When a channel is playing press the menu button on the remote control to bring up the service settings, select MISC and then highlight 'DECODING MODE' – you can then change to VLC HW DECODER or SOFTWARE DECODER (if vlc does not fix) by pressing select. Once the mode has been changed say OK to apply. Now try the service to see if the problems are resolved, and if the first change does not solve the issues then try the next; there are three modes in all, with HARDWARE DECODING being the default setting. NB: If you clear cached data you need to change decoding mode back afterwards.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

If you experience any problems with your iView HD IPTV service then you may solve the issue by trying one or more of the following procedures; this however does not mean that you should not contact us at anytime, day or night, if you are unsure of what to do.

·  Exit and restart the iView HD program.

·  When a channel is playing on iView HD press the menu button and go to MISC and then select CLEAR CACHE and then OK.

·  Go to your streaming device's settings menu and select applications, manage installed applications and choose the iView HD application and then select FORCE STOP, CLEAR DATA & CLEAR DATA and then CLEAR CACHE.

·  Re-boot your streaming device and reset your router.

·  Turn off both the streaming device and router for 4/5 minutes.

·  Run an internet speed test and check the internet service details in your area.

These are just a few suggestions that will normally sort out any problems which you may be encountering. The troubleshooting notes are in such an order because each possible 'fix' takes a little more time than the previous option given – so it's probably best to start from the top and work your way down, if necessary.

We recommend clearing the programs cache at least once a week, regardless of having any issues or not.
