SCC may use prerequisites or equates to block on families for this semester. This may impact SAC as well however. Need to see where faculty are in the process of identifying families at each campus and across the District. / Open Discussion
3. / June Meeting Cancellation / Stuart
4. / MIS Update:
All course & sections need to be fixed by the morning of 5/28/13 or they will be removed, resulting in underreporting for MIS

5. / Project List Review / Stuart
6. / Backsliding within a series of courses:
Highly recommended at this time, however not yet a law but State may mandate if we do not do this on our own.
Quantify the students impacted by this change.
Does backsliding refer to students that successfully pass a higher level course and then taking a lower level version or does it also refer to student who unsuccessfully take a higher level course and then take a lower level course to build up skill sets?
May need to develop a report and allow the schools to define how they utilize the report individually. Will need to define the “groups/sequences” of courses that would be tracked to prevent backsliding. / Sergio
