User’s guide for completing the online application

Welcome to the PSOnline application for accreditation of a Voluntary Product Stewardship Arrangement.

You are required to provide information and complete all seven parts of the application before you can submit your application. This guide provides you with information and guidance in completing some specific parts and requirements of the application.

Begin

When you first login to your application, you are required to change your password.Enter the password provided to you in the Current password box. In New password, enter a new password of your choice.It must be made up of at least one upper case, one lower case, a number, and be at leasteight characters in length. Then re-enter the new password in the confirmation box and hit ‘Submit’.


Home Page

Once you have changed your password, the next time you login the Home page willdisplay details of the registrant. After you have commenced and saved your application at least once, the application status will be displayed on the Home page the next time you login.

If any changes are required to be made to the registrant details please contact the PSOnline Helpdesk by either clicking on Contact Us and sending thePSOnline Helpdesk an email or by calling 1800 459 451.

The Application

To launch an application, click the Application tab on the header and start the application. The Introduction and Disclosure page will always be displayed as your application entry page.

If entering the application module for the first time, please read the information on the Introduction and Disclosure page and click ‘Next’ to proceed to the next page, the Details page. You are required to complete and save all the parts in the Details pagebefore you can proceed to the other parts of the application.

The Symbol

Beside every section number on the application you will find this symbol. Hover your mouse over this symbol to view the guidelines for the requirements of the particular partin a pop-up window. This information is aligned with the Australian Government Accreditation of Voluntary Product Stewardship Arrangements Guide. You can print a copy of this guide from our Departmental website.

Files attachment and Search documents:

There are manyparts of the applicationthat require you to attach supporting documentation.Below is a sample of the attachment section:Screen 1:

To attach new documents: On the attachment section (refer to screen 1), click ‘Browse’ to search and select the required document from your system folder. Next, enter a Description of the file you have attached. To upload the document click ‘Add’. The document is now uploaded and you will seea new row (shown in screen 2) appeared. This allows you toattachanother document. If you wish to add further documents, carryout the same process.

To attach one or more documents that has beenpreviously saved under another part number:

If you are attaching one or more documents that you have previously saved for another partof the application, (refer screen 2) click ‘Search Documents’.A Search Documents window (refer below screen 3)will appear. Select one or more documents from the list and click ’Attach Documents’. The selected files will be added and will appear in your attachment list (see screen 4).

Alternatively, in the search area you can search for an existing document by entering the Attachment Id of the document, or a Part ID.Click ‘Search’ to list the existing documents and then select the required documents. Click ‘Attach Documents’ to attach.

To amend an attached document or its description: Click on the edit icon on the row that is to be amended. The row will become active allowing you to edit the description or to browse and select a new file from your system. Click ‘Update’ to confirm the amendment and the changes will appear in the attachment list.

Caution: if you are replacing the first instance of a saved document, changing this document will affect all subsequent parts where this attachment has been used.

Completing Part 1.3 –List of Executive Officers Details

Executive Officers Details: Screen 1

In part 1.3, enter the details of the Executive Officerand answer all the questions about this executive officer. Once all the required fields are completed, click the ’Save Executive Officer’button. The executive officers details are then recorded on the table below the questions. The fields will now be cleared for any additional executive officers to be entered.

If you have answered ‘Yes’ to any of the questions on the declaration form for an executive officer, you are required to provide details in at least one or more attachments. To do this, navigate to the name of the executive officer in the list below the questions that indicates the declaration form is incomplete.Click the edit icon of that row and the details of the executive officer that has been previously entered will be repopulatedin part 1.3 (refer to Screen 3). You will find the attachment section has now appeared allowing you to attach supporting documents for all ‘Yes’ claims on the declaration. Toedit attachments and to edit documents, please refer to section 5 of the guide above on‘Files attachmentand Search documents’.

Once you have added an attachment related to the executive officer, the record of the declaration form status change to ‘Complete’. If there is no further changes, click the’Update Executive Officer’ to save the changes, the fields will now be cleared for any additional executive officers to be entered as shown in Screen 4 below.
