Here are some details on the ancestors and family of Jorgen Lauritsen Pedersen b. 02.09.1886, spouse of Gerda Strangen. This couple went to USA and later Canada.

Jorgens great-grandfather was:
Peder Albertsen, son of Albert Hansen and wife Marie from Dunkaer. Peder took over a small farm in Tranderup, which was previously owned by his brother Rasmus Albertsen.
Peder was married in 1799 to Anne Rasmusdatter b. ca. 1782 d. 11.04.1851, daughter of Rasmus Pedersen and wife Margrethe Mikkelsdatter from Tranderup (124), land register no. 31. More about her family below.
When Peder and Anne were married she was only 17.
Children:
1. Marie Pedersdatter b. 15.12.1800. She was married on 12.02.1826 to farmer Peder Christensen b. 1796 from Tranderup, farm no. 93. More about this couple below.
2. Margrethe Pedersen b. 03.03.1803.
3. Rasmus Pedersen b. 04.07.1804. He was married on 18.11.1832
to Mette Pedersdatter b. 1808, daughter of farmer Peder Jensen
and wife Mette Pedersdatter from St. Rise. Rasmus was a farmer
in Vindeballe (61), land register no. 23. The house does not
exist any more, as a community house was built on the location
in 1904. Today the community house has been sold to a local
plumber, who has a workshop and store there.
Until a few years ago there were two large trees in front of
the community house, which were planted in 1904 by the parish
priest Hans Peder Christian Strangen, at the official opening
of the community house.
The land that belonged to this farm in Vindeballe is still in
the family, but new buildings were built at a location called
Kringlemose, between Vindeballe and Strandhusene.

6. Karen Pedersen b. 02.09.1812. She was married on 06.01.1834
to farmer Anders Christensen Andersen b. 1801 in Tranderup. He
was a son of Christen Andersen and wife Karen Mortensdatter from Tranderup. Anders and Karen took over her uncle, Rasmus
Albertsen's farm in Tranderup (113).
7. Anne Pedersen b. 31.03.1818. She was married on 01.02.1839 to
farmer Peder Madsen Jensen b. 1811 in Voderup, land register
no. 6.
Jorgens grandfather was:
Albert Hansen Pedersen b. 16.10.1809, son of small farmer Peder Albertsen and wife Anne Rasmusdatter from Tranderup, farm no. 124, land registration no. 31. Albert was married on 05.11.1841 to Anne Margrethe Lauritsen b. 04.09.1819, daughter of farmer Jorgen Lauritsen and wife Karen Pedersdatter from Vindeballe no. 62, land registration no. 20. Albert took over his father's small farm in Tranderup (124).

Jorgens father was:
Jorgen Lauritsen Pedersen b. 01.01.1845 d. 14.06.1916, son of Albert Hansen Pedersen and wife Anne Margrethe Lauritsen from Tranderup, farm no. 124, land registration no. 31.
Jorgen took over his father's farm, no. 124 in Tranderup parish. This small farm is located in the eastern part of Tranderup, just south of the farm known as "Fogedgaarden".
Jorgen was married on 11.10.1872 to Sidsel Marie Lauritsen f. 11.01.1853, daughter of farmer Laurits Jensen Lauritsen and wife Sidsel Marie Christensen from Tranderupmark. More about her family below.
Jorgen built a new farm on the land in Husmarken, where the family moved to.

Andersen Christensen b. 22.11.1872, son of small farmer Christen Hansen Christensen from Stokkeby.
2. Sidsel Marie Pedersen b. 25.09.1876. She was married on 04.11.1900 to Erik Christian Rasmussen Svarer b. 14.06.1874, son of skipper E. H. Svarer from Aeroskobing.
Erik was customs officer and small farmer in Voderup, land

3. Laurits Albertsen Pedersen b. 03.05.1879.
3. Anne Marie Pedersen b. 29.03.1881. She was married on 11.11.1900 to small farmer Jorgen Thomsen Jorgensen from Stokkeby and later in Tranderupmark. He was a son of
Jorgen Thomsen Jorgensen from Stokkeby.

married on 21.10.1938 to Maren Hansine Hansen b. 12.06.1914 d. 13.09.1984, daughter of farmer Hans

4. Jorgen Lauritsen Pedersen b. 02.09.1886. He was married to Gerda Johanne Christensen (Strangen) b. 30.03.1887, daughter of parish vicar Hans Peder Christian Christensen Strangen and wife Rosalie Tusnilda Kofoed-Hansen from Tranderup parish, Aero. They emigrated to USA, where they were married in Billings, Montana. They moved to Standard, Alberta, Canada where they had 4 children.
Anne Rasmusdatter b. ca. 1782 d. 11.04.1851, daughter of Rasmus Pedersen and wife Margrethe Mikkelsdatter from Tranderup (124), land register no. 31.
Her father was:
Rasmus Pedersen b. ca. 1745 d. 11.12.1787 from Rise. On 03.01.1775 he bought a small farm in Tranderup, no. 116 from Niels Eskelsen.
Rasmus was married in 1780 to Margrethe Mikkelsdatter b. 1745, daughter of farmer Mikkel Poulsen b. ca. 1718 d. 17.08.1803 and wife Ane Philipsdatter d. ca. 1759 from Tranderup (113), land register no. 27.
Rasmus also took over another small farm in Tranderup, no. 124, land register no. 31 from Anders Hansen.
Children:
1. Anne Rasmusdatter b. 1781.

After Rasmus Pedersen died, his widow was married in 1789 to Rasmus Albertsen from Dunkaer. Rasmus Albertsen took over Rasmus Pedersen's two farms, no. 116 and 124.
Rasmus Albertsen also purchased his brother-in-law's farm in Tranderup (113) on 25.04.1797, which had previously been his father-in-law's.
Rasmus and Margrethe had no children.
Farm no. 116 and 124 was turned over to his stepdaughter Anne Rasmusdatter and her husband Peder Albertsen, who was Rasmus's brother.
Farm no. 113 was turned over to a daughter of his brother Peder Albertsen. Her name was Karen Pedersen and her husband was Anders Christensen Andersen. Cfr. above. Karen had been a housekeeper for Rasmus Albertsen for some years, which is probably the reason why she and her husband later took over the farm.
Anne Margrethe Lauritsen b. 04.09.1819, daughter of farmer Jorgen Lauritsen and wife Karen Pedersdatter from Vindeballe no. 62, land registration no. 20.
Her 3xgreat-grandfather:
Hans Pedersen d. 1710. He was a farmer in Vindeballe, Aero, farm no. 45A.
The name of his first wife is unknown, but his second wife was called Maren d. ca. 1752. It is not possible to say whether the children were with his first or second wife.

2. Jens Hansen b. 1695. He took over a farm in Vindeballe (42).
3. Laurits Hansen d. 1743. He took over a farm in Vindeballe

Stokkeby (279).

Her 2xgreat-grandfather was:
Laurits Hansen d. 05.05.1743. He was married to Bodil Christensdatter d. ca. 1759, daughter of farmer Christen Lassen d. 18.11.1735 from Vindeballe, farm no. 49. Christen Lassen was a village elder and a church warden.
Bodil was a widow after farmer Knud Knudsen from "Lundsgaard" (name of farm) in Vindeballe, with whom she had 7 children.
Laurits took over Knud Knudsen's farm.
Laurits and Bodil had these children:

Her great-grandfather was:
Hans Lauritsen d. ca. 1760. Probate dated 11.02.1760. He was married on 23.08.1755 to Birgitte Marie Christensdatter, daughter of farmer Christen Hansen (Rising) buried 02.02.1763 and wife Marie died 1763 from Vindeballe (43).

Probably there were more children, but over a few months time almost the whole family died, and the farm was leased to a young man until the surviving son could take over the farm, which he did ca. 1774.
Her grandfather:
Laurits Hansen b. 11.04.1756 d, 07.06.1831. He was married in Bregninge on 24.07.1774 to Ane Margrethe Jorgensdatter d. 03.08.1811, aged 57, daughter of farmer Jorgen Andersen from Skovby (131). More about her family below.
Children:
1. Hans Lauritsen b. 1775. He was a farmer at Graastensmark (12).
A son named Hans Lauritsen was later an innkeeper at Bregninge
inn.
2. Jorgen Lauritsen b. 1778 d. 02.06.1832. He was a small farmer

3. Birthe Marie Lauritsdatter d. 27.03.1840. She was married to
Hans Nielsen, small landowner at Graahoye, cfr. Voderup no. 40. Details on my website.
4. Christen Lauritsen b. 23.12.1781 d. 04.08.1829. He took over
his father's farm (44) in Vindeballe.
5. Ane Margrethe Lauritsdatter b. 1784. She was married to a
farmer in Vindeballe (46).
6. Maren Lauritsdatter b. 30.03.1788. She was married on 06.05.1813 to Henrik Christensen as mentioned above.
7. Peder Lauritsen b. 1791. He took over a farm in Tranderup (95B).
8. Knud Knudsen Lauritsen b. 27.05.1797 d. 24.11.1888. He was a
tailor in Vindeballe.
Her father was:
Jorgen Lauritsen b. 1778 d. 02.06.1836, son of farmer Laurits Hansen and wife Ane Margrethe Jorgensdatter from "Lundsgaard" (name of farm) in Vindeballe (44). He was married in January 1812 to Karen Pedersdatter b. 11.03.1778 d. 10.02.1838, widow of Laurits Hansen. Jorgen took over the farm of Laurits Hansen, Vindeballe no. 62, land registration no. 20.
Children:
1. Laurits Hansen Lauritsen b. 10.09.1812 d. 01.12.1867. He took
over his father's farm.
2. Hans Lauritsen b. 23.09.1814. He became an inkeeper in Bregninge.
3. Ane Margrethe Lauritsen b. 01.07.1816. She died young.
4. Anne Margrethe Lauritsen b. 04.09.1819. Cfr. above.
Jorgen was supposed to have inherited his father's farm in Vindeballe, but he left the farm to a younger brother against a payment of 240 Rd.
His widow left the farm to the oldest son on 15.06.1836.
Ane Margrethe Jorgensdatter d. 03.08.1811, aged 57, daughter of farmer Jorgen Andersen from Skovby (131).
Her father was:
Jorgen Andersen b. 1707 d. 26.06.1792, son of farmer Anders Hansen "Drejebo" and Sidsel Jorgensdatter from Skovby.
Jørgen was married ca. 1738 to Anne Margrethe Pedersdatter b. 1714 d. 27.01.1794, daughter of farmer Peder Andersen and Maren Christensdatter from Skovby (131). The address of this farm is Skovbygyden no. 3.
Jorgen took over his father-in-law's farm in Skovby (131).
When Jorgen died the priest wrote in the Church records, that he had been married for 54 years, been a church warden for 50 years and a "Sandemand"(village elder) for 40 years. He left the farm to a son of his oldest daughter.

Sidsel Marie Lauritsen f. 11.01.1853, daughter of farmer Laurits Jensen Lauritsen and wife Sidsel Marie Christensen from Tranderupmark.
Her 3xgreat-grandfather was Anders Hansen (Stage), cfr. below.:
Hans Rasmussen "Stage" d. ca. 1692. He was married to Karen d. 1728. Apparently Hans had been married once before but the name of his first wife is unknown. From 1663 we find Hans Stage as farmer in Olde, Gammelgaard (name of farm) (140). In 1692 he is replaced on the farm by Anders Hansen who apparently married his widow.
This couple are the 7xgreat-grandparents of Ib Christensen.
Hans Stage and Karen had 3 children:
1. Laurits Hansen "Stage" d. 1737. He was married to Anne d. after 1738. she had been married twice before and had 4 children with her first husband. Laurits and Anne had no children.
Laurits took over the farm of Anne's first husband in Olde (133).
2. Christen Hansen "Stage" d. 1741. He was married on 8.07.1714 to Margrethe Andersdatter d. ca. 1734 from Stokkeby (282), widow of Thomas Pedersen from Stokkeby (276), with whom she had 5 children.
Christen took over Thomas Pedersen's farm in Stokkeby (276). Christen and Margrethe had 1 child.
This couple are the 6xgreat-grandparents of Ib Christensen.
3. Bodil Hansdatter d. 1709. She was married on 08.06.1703 to Erik Christensen from Olde d. 1705. Erik Christensen had a farm in Olde from ca. 1683 (134). They had no children.
After Erik died Bodil was married on 2.07.1705 to Hans Christensen d. after 1731, and he took over Erik Chistensen's farm. Bodil and Hans had 2 children. Due to a poor economy Hans Christensen was forced to sell the farm in 1731.
After Hans Rasmussen Stage died, Karen was married to Anders Hansen d. after 1736. Anders was later given the nickname "Stage". This name was given to the men on this farm.
Karen and Anders were married ca. 1692 and they had 3 children:
4. Hans Andersen "Stage" d. 1732. He was married in 1718 to Kirsten Gregersdatter d. 1732. Hans took over his father-in- law's farm in Dunkaer (217). Hans and Kirsten had 4 children.
After Kirsten died, Hans was married on 29.06.1732 to Kirsten Thomasdatter b. 1709 d. 1784 from Stokkeby (276). They had 1 child who was born after the father died.
after Hans died Kirsten was married to Hans Hansen (Windeballe) from Vindeballe (46), who took over the farm. The children of Hans Andersen's first marriage were placed in custody of his brothers.
5. Hans Andersen "Stage" b. 1701 d. 1770. He was married on 1.11.1724 to Ellen d. 1758, widow of Peder Thomsen Kock from Olde (141), with whom she had 5 children.
Hans Andersen took over the farm of Peder Thomsen Kock in Olde.

Jens Andersen (Stage) b. 1705 d. 1769. He took over his father's farm "Gammelgaard" (140). He was married in ca. 1729 to Mette Pedersdatter b. ca. 1710 d. 1784 from Olde (141). She was a stepdaughter of his brother Hans Andersen, that is a daughter of Peder Thomsen Kock and Ellen. Jens and Mette had 7 children. The oldest son Peder Jensen was married to Anne Kirstine Lauritsdatter, daughter of farmer at "Dalsgaard" in Tranderup, Aero, Laurits Christensen.
