GRADING SCALE FOR SENIOR PROJECT: 20 Points Total for Rubric
Approved Proposal = All 7 parts are Approved = 20 / 20 pts
Not Approved : Students will be given the proposal back with the rubric checked to the areas that need improvement. They will have one week to revise and return their proposal to their English teachers. The following is a guide for the English teachers to the maximum number of points that can be earned after successful completion of revision of checked areas.
1 check = 95% (20) = 19pts 2 checks = 90% (20) = 18 pts
3 checks = 85% (20) = 17 pts 4 checks or more = 80% (20) = 16 pts
The English teacher will determine the final grade if only partial completion of checked items are done by the student. A zero will be given if Proposals are over a week late and revisions are not made.
A student must turn in 3 items to their English teacher for final grade:
a) the Senior Project Proposal rubric
b) the original “graded” Proposal
c) the final proposal…in that order!
