- People can go to student council for their own schools in order to buy new microwaves
- If your school’s lounge needs microwave then bring it up to your administration – each room belongs to each school

President’s Report: Chelsea Mitchell
-We got standing desks! They will go into two classrooms to start
-60% approval rating needed in order to pass standing desks in every room.
Business (Unfinished/New): Time to discuss Policies, Practices, Resolutions
Committee Updates/Reports: Each committee chair/VP will provide updates on committee work(s). There will be a maximum time limit of ten (15) minutes per committee update.
OCSS Announcements:
-Welcome Wednesday – it went well but the people who showed up volunteered too long
- We are going to write up a new bill – 2 mandatory volunteer events per semester
- If you do not meet the volunteer requirements you will be kicked out of Senate
-Skidazeis happening Sept 28th and 29th
- Discounted passes
- Considering snowcone machine again
-New event this year – CU advocacy and support center and senate is backing it
- We have a lot of resources on campus that most people don’t know about – it would be good to get the word out (emails don’t work)
- Blue bench and gateway – victims advocacy groups – they are in building 500
- This will be on the 21st of September – we will be showing the hunting ground – sexual assault on campuses ; 11:00 AM - 1:00 pm; Ed2N 2104

-Attendance policy
- Meetings are 2nd and 4th Mondays of the months
- There is a website – all of the senate dates are there
- Attendance is mandatory for every meeting
- If you do not show up then your whole class will lose money
- If you don’t know where that money is going you should ask someone
- You can miss 2 meetings per semester
- If you cannot show up, then it wont count against you if you get someone to cover for you - someone in your class
- If you are not on campus that is ok – you just have to let us know – (ex: med school on rotation and you aren’t on campus for the whole semester)
