Personal Data

38 years old, divorced, two children (John 8, Jeanne 5), 6’4” tall, in excellent health (wear glasses), exercise regularly, primarily racquetball and lifting weights. Also enjoy golf. Currently I volunteer as a Little League baseball coach (ages 6-8) and as a Boy Scout troop leader (ages 10–12).

I received a Bachelor of Science in Business at WestbrookUniversity in May of 2004. My major was Finance and Real Estate; my overall grade-point average was 3.6.

I graduated in the top 10 percent of a class of 100 at BlairHigh School in Pueblo, Colorado, in 1990.

  • Completed a one-semester internship (gained three hours’ credit toward degree) at Sunbelt Bank from September to December, 2003. Selection process was very competitive. My primary responsibilities were to assist the branch manager and approve small consumer loans.
  • Commercial Loan Officer, Baker Mortgage Corporation from June, 2004 to November, 2008. My duties included managing a $25 million loan portfolio, making substantial credit decisions for loans averaging $800,000 each, and striving to achieve realistic lending goals.

I also arranged loans for various types of clients (importers and exporters, wholesalers, and manufacturers) with tremendous sales. Completed Baker’s intensive training program for commercial loan officers, which required me to pass an intermediate accounting examination before being admitted and to pass an arduous loan officer’s examination when I finished.
