Academic Scholarship Application Instructions
1. YOU ARE ELIGIBLE IF....

A.  You are a junior or senior currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university within the State of Michigan with a current minimum 3.0 GPA.

B.  You are or will be pursuing a course of study directly related to the construction industry i.e., Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management/Technology….

2.  AWARD PROCESS

A.  The ACI West Michigan Chapter Scholarship Committee will review the applications and select the recipients. Their decision will be made based upon the following criteria:

1)  Scholastic ability of applicant

2)  Extracurricular activities

3)  References presented by the applicant

4)  Financial need

B.  This award will consist of a one-time grant of $1,000 to a student enrolled in a course of study related to the construction industry.

C.  Successful recipients will be notified of awards by May 1. The awards will be presented at a selected ACI General Membership Meeting.

D.  The awards will be made payable to the recipient’s academic institution.

3.  SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS

A.  Your completed application must include the following:

1)  A completed Scholarship Application form.

2)  A copy of your university/college transcript.

3)  A minimum of (1) letter of reference from a professor, employer, etc. Reference letters must be sent under separate cover and received prior to the deadline.

B.  The ACI West Michigan Chapter Scholarship Committee must receive your application no later than midnight on March 1. Return application before the deadline to:
