CIA CERTIFICATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Award Information:

The IIA’s CIA Learning System (valued at $895) will be awarded to two (2) IIA members or students who are pursuing the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation. For CIA exam or membership information, please visit www.theiia.org.

Eligibility for IIA Members:

·  Active IIA membership

·  Registered for the CIA exam or eligible to sit for the CIA exam

·  Employed in a career in internal auditing or a closely related field

Eligibility for Students:

·  Must be a currently enrolled junior, senior or graduate student at a college or university. No specific major or course of study is required.

·  Intends on pursuing a career in internal auditing or a closely related field

Requirements:

·  Completed application (next page)

·  Copy of transcript at the end of the most recent semester you were enrolled in school (students only)

·  Copy of CIA exam registration (if applicable)

·  Resume

·  Character reference letter on school letterhead from a professor, instructor, or administrator at the school currently enrolled. (students only)

·  One-page personal narrative (next page)
