Jan. 12, 2016- ANGP Meeting Minutes
Meeting held at Dave and Busters in Springfield; Manager gave us a tour.
We have a theme: Mardi Gras Let the Good Times Roll, banner created by DECA
Lisa met with the principal. Free-lunch students will be identified and offered a reduced cost ANGP ticket.
Budget: 275 tickets sold, price is now $85
Poinsettias: April Dougherty reported we sold 195 which generated $894 profit
Getting Flyers Out: PDF Files needed forPTSAgram and Kit advertising
Lisa putting a mailing out next week, send her all advertisements to be included.
Mail Out – January 11th push for mulch, photos, tickets, donations, graduation seat raffle, and yard signs
We will push the ticket sales on Feb. 2, “half way to graduation” day. Perhaps Movie night can
be added to this if firmed up before mailing.
Slide show: send photos in. They will play on all TV’s at Dave and Busters. Contact is Jane Anderson.
She wasn’t present to report on status.
Yard Signs: Order form is on the website, $20 a piece
Mulch Sale: Mulch team will be meeting Thursday night. They need experienced help & fork lifts. They
will have a SignUpGenius going out. Sale is April 9th with last orders accepted on March 29th. Prices are up from last year. Trucks will beneeded. A minimum of 12 bags required for
delivery. Flyers are on the ANGP website.
Movie Night – April Dougherty contacted University Mall and they offered Thursday nights and Sunday
nights….Discussion followed with Feb. 14/April 22 being suggested, we will charge $11 each or 2
for $20.Advertise it as “Date Night”. Tickets will be presold and sold noon to 8pm at the
theater that night. Shifts of volunteers will be needed to man this table on Feb. 14. No refunds.
They will charge us $6 for each ticket. We only pay for tickets used, not tickets sold.
Ticket price includes movie, soda & popcorn.
Restaurant Night – No chair person, we made $426 at Chipotle this week. Everyone try to set up one.
One a month is ideal. It just takes a phone call. Then get the flyer to Lisa.
Shed: Lisa has cleaned it out.
Merchandise: About 50 flannel pants left. Sunglasses will be handed out at the ANGP.
ANGP Gift bag at the event discussion: it will be a white draw string bag with theme on front, logos on
back. CCI printing is by the Bowling Alley on Guinea Rd.
Donations: Lynne Saltsman reported we have received one company $500 sponsorship and a few
auction Items: wine-tasting for 20 from Total Wines, Nationals are sending a player signed
baseball. April suggested contacting BAC and BRYC for donations. Lynne will follow up.
Feb. 2nd -1st period Breakfast for the seniors, ticket sales, free candy again. Help if you can.
Next ANGP Meeting will be Feb. 10.
