Now Chami, everyone knows there are lots of things for us Pyrs

to do at a National Specialty, but the people of the Penn-Dutch

Great Pyrenees Club have asked us to tell the folks some of the

things there are for people to do as part of a visit to Pennsylvania.

ington Motor Lodge in scenic Allentown, Pennsylvania, on the

edge of the Pennsylvania Dutch country.

University, who are producing this program, will be taping the

entire specialty with four broadcast cameras and tapes will be

available for a modest fee.

to Allentown from Philadelphia to protect it from the British?

and gives a lot of information about the early days of this country.

to stop at the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles. Here

they can see the kinds of vehicles people used in the old days to

take their Pyrs to shows.

While we’re on the subject of transportation, if you are a railroad

buff like Chami here, Pennsylvania has a wealth of things to do

and see. Within an hour of Allentown are two operating steam

railroads.

You can take a short excursion on the WL&S at nearby Kempton,

are chocoholics. They will want to visit the Mecca of chocolate

In addition to a tour of Chocolate World, there is skating at

Hershey Arena.
