Athletic and Youth Group Policies

Welcome and thank you for choosing the Holiday Inn to accommodate your team while you are visiting Austin Minnesota. To ensure the safety and comfort of all of the guests that are staying at our hotel during this time we have created some guidelines. As the adults responsible for the safety and welfare of the children, we think that you will find these rules helpful. Please take a moment to review them and share the information with your team members.
Please educate your team members about the serious dangers and inconveniences that can be caused from intentional false fire alarms. Fire alarms are for true emergencies only. Any false fire alarm will be investigated by the fire department and the cost of responding to an intentional alarm will be passed on to the person(s) responsible for the false alarm.
Running, shouting, horseplay, and roughhousing are never acceptable behavior while on the hotel property. This includes hallways, lobby areas, stairwells and hotel rooms.
It is our preference that your sports equipment not be brought into the hotel. Baseballs, soccer balls, bats, and hockey sticks tend to attract the attention of children and can be a safety hazard inside the hotel for both the child and other guests of the hotel.
If your team members wear cleats, please put the cleats on after you have left the hotel. Cleats can create serious damage to the interior of the hotel and can cause safety hazards by tearing carpet.
Holidome Hours are 8am to 11pm. To keep the area quiet for all guests we ask that you are not in the Holidome area after 11pm. This does include the balconies and patio areas. Please help us enforce our quiet hours between 11:00pm to 8:00am. Anyone found to be hindering our efforts to maintain a quiet atmosphere may be asked to leave the hotel
For the safety of those swimming, no food or beverages are allowed inside the white fence. Food and beverages are permitted in the picnic area outside the pool fence.
Pool towels are available poolside. Please do not remove towels from your guest rooms for use in the pool. Please help us in enforcing the pool hours and safety rules and regulations that are posted by the pool.
We have found that an 11:00pm curfew for children under the age of 18 is very helpful for their safety and for appropriate operation of the hotel. Please help us enforce this curfew.
All guest rooms and public areas are smoke free. Guests found to have been smoking in a non-smoking room will be subject to a $300 fine.
Torge’s Live is open from 11:00am to 1:00am on Friday and Saturday nights. Those under the age of 21 are not allowed into the lounge after 8:00pm per Minnesota State Law.
Our staff is unable to disclose room numbers of other guests in the hotel regardless of how you may be related to them. We will be happy to connect you by telephone to their guest room.

Extra room keys are available at the front desk only to adults with valid ID that matches the name on the reservation. This is for guest security to ensure that those responsible for the room control who has access to the room.
Check out is at 11am. Due to a high demand with late check out requests, we might not be able to extend your check out time on the day of departure.
