Checklist of Awards Criteria: You must include all of the following to be eligible for the award.
Nominee must be a CWEA member, proof of membership is required.
Nominee must be actively involved in CWEA and pretreatment, pollution prevention or stormwater.
Over the last three years, involved in the a) implementation and/or enforcement of pretreatment, pollution prevention, and/or stormwater regulations and/or best management practices; b) design, operation or research of source control, pretreatment, and/or stormwater facilities; and/or c) training and/or education of pretreatment pollution prevention, and or/stormwater personnel.
Developed an original concept or significantly contributed to improving the pretreatment, pollution, and stormwater professionals including industries, regulators, peers and management.
Acted in a professional and ethical manner in promoting and working with pretreatment, pollution prevention and stormwater professionals including industries, regulators, peers and management.
Six copies of award application. Supporting documents encouraged.

Local Section Instructions
- No more than one nomination for the P3S Award may be submitted by each Local Section as their Local Section Winner. Submittal of more than one nomination will invalidate that Local Section’s entry.
- The CWEA P3S Awards are coordinated by the CWEA P3S Nomination Committee. The team is comprised of the Awards Subcommittee Chair, Committee Chair, The Committee is chaired by the previous year’s winner of Person of the Year. The other members are the most recent recipients of the award who are available to serve.
- The committee will evaluate all nominees for this award.
- All award nominees will be notified of their award status prior to the CWEA Annual
