Directions for Getting
Animoto Education Accounts
In this project we will be creating videos from pics, text, audio, video clips, etc. If you have a program at home that you like to use, feel free to use that. If you don’t, you can use Youtube Editor or Animoto.com. I have set up an education account that allows your videos to be longer (5min) than just the basic 30s. Each teacher ONLY HAS 50 of these accounts, so if you’re not going to use Animoto, don’t use up their codes. Follow these directions to sign up.
If you already have an Animoto account ::
1) Go to Animoto.com and login.
2) Click on your name in the upper right corner, then select Account.
3) Scroll down to where it says Redeem a Promo Code and use the correct code from below.
4) The screen should update to show that you are now an Education member.
If you don’t have an Animoto account already::
1) To set up an account you need to use your school email address, which is and your password is your school network password. If you don’t know this, see me or email me.
2) Go to Animoto.com
3) Click “Sign Up” in the upper right hand corner.
4) On the right side, enter school Email, Name, SCHOOL Password, and then Confirm your Password.
5) At the bottom of the box, choose “Education” and then click “Start Trial”
5) When you get into your account, Click on your name in the upper right corner, then select Account.
6) Scroll down to where it says Redeem a Promo Code and enter your teacher’s code. SEE BELOW
7) The screen should update to show that you are now an Education member.
