Here’s how!
Save resources from Teachit’s libraries
Browse Teachit’s libraries and find resources you want to save, then simply click on the green icon to the right.
You will see the message ‘Resource added to My Teachit.works’ and that’s it! The resource will automatically be copied to the My Teachit.works area.
Create and fill your folders
Open up My Teachit.works via the link on the right-hand side of any Teachit page. The resources you have added will be listed as ‘Recently added’.
Now create a folder by clicking on the icon in the left-hand panel. Name your folder and click the ‘create’ button.
To move a resource into a folder, you just drag and drop – to do this you need to grab the bold title or description of the resource with your mouse – your pointer symbol will change to a hand icon.
Holding down the left mouse button, drag the resource across to the folder you want. The folder name’s background will turn dark blue. At that point, let go and the resource will pop into the folder.
You can move a resource from one folder to another by the same drag and drop process.
You can also create new folders within folders by choosing the New folder icon from the menu that appears when you hover over the blue arrow.
Add your own files to My Teachit.works
When you have created a new folder, hover over the arrow to the right and a menu will appear. To add a file of your own, click on the Upload a resource icon. This will open a short form to the right where you can add the title of your file and your own notes. Click the Browse… button to open up a ‘Choose File to Upload’ box from where you can easily find the files you want. Select your file, click open, then save.
