PART C – CONSENT OF PROPERTY OWNER

PART D – FENCING REQUIRED

Construction of a new fence only

Construction of a new fence including demolition and disposal of an existing fence

PART E – BUILDING PERMIT

It is the responsibility of the applicant to obtain a Building Permit for the fence where required. Generally a Building Permit is required for:
·  Any fence that forms part of a Pool or Spa Safety Barrier
·  Any brick fence greater than 1.2m in height
·  Any fence greater than 2.0m in height
It is strongly recommended that the applicant refer to a Private Building Surveyor, Architect or Draftsperson to obtain advice on the need for a Building Permit. Further advice may be obtained by contacting Council’s Building Department on 9705 5200.
A Building Permit is not required

PART F – QUOTATION

Council recommends obtaining at least two (2) quotations before selecting a fencing contractor.
Please note that the maximum contribution from Council is:
·  $24.20 per metre including GST for construction of a new fence only
·  $28.60 per metre including GST for new fence including demolition and disposal of an existing fence
The applicant is responsible for any additional costs quoted by the fencing contractor above the maximum contribution offered by Council.

PART G – IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Applications for shared cost fencing are processed in accordance with Council’s Fencing to Reserves Policy which is available online at www.casey.vic.gov.au/sharedcostfencing
All information collected with this application will be retained at the municipal offices and handled in accordance with Council’s Privacy Policy.
