Content Marketing Executive
Salary: £TBC depending on experience
We are seeking a bright, outgoing, positive and proactive Content Executive to join our Organic Search and Content Marketing team, to work across a range of content and outreach tasks. Content is at the very heart of digital strategy, and the work you do will be central to many of the digital campaigns we work on.
Content marketing, the process of creating and disseminating engaging audience-led material such as articles, blog content, infographics, videos and data visualisation, is an exciting growth area that sits within established social media and search marketing processes.
Outreach is an integral part of content marketing that involves researching, negotiating and liaising with potential partner websites and helping to develop engaging and creative content with them.
You will also assist the Organic Search team with onsite content recommendations, and may be tasked with writing copy and optimising client sites where necessary.

What you will be doing:
· Developing ideas for content creation to incentivise websites to promote clients’ brands. You will help to identify and produce the types of content that will encourage potential website partners and audiences to engage with us and our clients. Content can be widely varied and range from articles specifically written for the partner website to videos or data visualisations.
· Forming content strategies, with support from DBD’s SEO Account Managers. Aimed at impacting and improving organic search performance for our clients. To inform the content strategies you will be involved in analysing the competitive landscape, as well as auditing client websites.
· Identifying relevant partner websites that fit a specific profile associated with our clients’ brands. You will be researching and identifying websites and blogs that are relevant to our clients and who may be likely to promote their brand. For example, finding relevant travel bloggers who would be interested in promoting luxury hotels, or business advice websites who might publish articles and creative pieces on "money management for business".
· Build and maintain relationships with partner websites. Your main responsibility will be to ensure communications with partner websites are maintained through the appropriate channels – from initial communication through to placement of content. This may involve a range of communication methods from interacting on various social networks such as Twitter to direct phone and email conversations.
· On-Page Content Optimisation for client websites. Working with our team of SEO account managers to help them write SEO-friendly content for a range of different client websites.
· Manage, update and advise on clients’ social media activity across multiple platforms – Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.
· Support other members of the organic search team with the delivery of projects for all our clients
· Analysing results and preparing reports to be presented back to our clients
About you
· Bright, energetic, outgoing and ambitious, with excellent academic qualifications
· Motivated self-starter with the proven ability to achieve results
· Really strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent spelling and grammar, and great attention to detail
· Have a good understanding of marketing and advertising, with an appreciation of how the different elements of digital marketing work together
· Solution-lead attitude, with the ability to consider challenges independently
· Capable of prioritising multiple tasks in a busy deadline-driven environment
