ANVESHAN-2015 REPORT
Anveshan-2015on the theme “Innovation: An Answer to the Emerging Problems”was organizedon November27-28, 2015 at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya-Indore, to provide a platform to the Senior Secondary students for showcasing their projects. 1000 prospective students of the university from 44 schools visited the campus and participated in Anveshan-2015.
Day 1 (November 27, 2015)
Inaugural Session(10:00 am to 11:00 am)
Convener of Anveshan-2015, Dr. Kavita Sharma started the session with a brief introduction to Anveshan. In his welcome address, Dr. Upinder Dhar, Vice Chancellor – Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya emphasized thatInterest as well as Aptitude must be considered for selecting the stream of education and effective career planning. Special Guest Mr. Manish Saraf, Alumnus of SVITS and Chief Operating Officer-Learnmile Solutions Pvt. Ltd. highlighted the need forinnovation and appreciated the event Anveshan.Yash Bhargav, student of fourth year civil engineering, SVITS presented his project on “Revamping of Agriculture”. Aalekh also presented a project on “Wifi-Drone”.At the end of this session, the words of thanks were proposed by Dr. Rajeev Shukla.
Project Presentations (11:10 am to 1:00 pm)
25 projects/models were presented in: Commerce (09), Social Science (05), Biology (07) and Computer Science (04). 429 students and 19 teachers of 20 schools participated in Anveshan-2015 on the first day (Annexure 1).Project presentations were followed by prize distribution to winners(Annexure 2).
Campus Tour(1:00 pm to 3:00 pm)
Campus tour was followed by refreshments for participating students.The students also visited and appreciated the photo exhibition organized by AMOGH, photography club of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya.
Day 2 (November 28, 2015)

Convener of Anveshan-2015, Dr. Kavita Sharma started the session with opening remarks and brief introduction to Anveshan as an annual activity. In his welcome address, Dr. Upinder Dhar, Vice Chancellor – Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya addressed the need of Anveshan and emphasized that presentation of projects and models would facilitate innovative thinking amongst the students. Special Guest Mr. Saurabh Bhalerao, Alumnus of SVITS and Entrepreneur, focused on innovation and said that students need to think differently for finding solutions to the problems. Like first day, Yash Bhargav, student of fourth year civil engineering, SVITS made presentation of his project on “Revamping of Agriculture” and Aalekh also repeated the presentation of his project on “Wifi-Drone”. The words of thanks were proposed by Dr. Rajeev Shukla.

22 projects/models were presented in: Physics (12), Chemistry (08), and Mathematics (02). 529 students and 23 teachers of 24 schools participated in Anveshan-2015on the second day (Annexure 3). Project presentations were followed by prize distribution to winners (Annexure 4).
Campus Tour(1:00 pm to 3:00 pm)
Campus tour was followed by refreshments for participating students. The students also visited and appreciated the photo exhibition organized by AMOGH, photography club of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya. Students also visited Science Exhibition, which was specially organized for the event in association with Children’s Science Center.
