Reviews materials for STEM lessons prior to attending the program and coordinate duties with afterschool facilitator / P
Guides students through the Engineering Design Process as defined by Engineering is Elementary (EiE) / P / S
Incorporates extension activities (e.g. field trips, guest speakers, videos, etc.) to enhance the curriculum or Student-Driven Projects / P / S
Discusses STEM education, career and/or research and facilitates a related engaging activity with class during at least one SABES session / S / P
Attends and assists students in preparing presentations for STEM Showcases (held twice/year) / P / S

Communicates any scheduling changes or class cancellations at least 1 week in advance to ; communicates any emergency cancellations or schedule changes as soon as possible; the SABES team will notify your mentor group / P / S

Remains responsible for inventory, maintenance and secure storage of afterschool SABES supplies (notify SABES team immediately if missing supplies) / S / P
Recruits students to participate in the afterschool program and maintains minimum enrollment of 12 students / S / P
Recruits, hires, trains and evaluates afterschool staff / P
Provides a copy of the afterschool calendar to SABES team / P
