Bidders are also always welcome to present their bid at the board meeting where the meets are awarded.

  1. Concussion education was discussed. It is a state law that all coaches working with gymnasts take the concussion education/test posted on the COUSAG website. It is also offered on the CHSAA website.
  2. Nichole Otterson, the NAWGJ state chair, presented the new Database System that Colorado will use in assigning judges. It is in the process of changing its’ name from Meet Control to Meet Integrity. The judges will use an accept/decline button and the coaches can get online to see who has been assigned to their meet. If a gym is using a meet for mobility or qualifying, they must get a sanction and go through Nichole for assigning. If the gym is doing an in-house meet for education, no sanction is necessary and judges may be obtained by the meet director. If there is no sanction, please notify the judges. NAWGJ will also be sponsoring a Level 5 All Star team from Colorado to the National meet January 9-11 in Montgomery, Alabama. The gymnast’s airfare, meet entry fee, and hotel will be provided along with one leotard and warm-up. The coach’s airfare and hotel will also be provided.
