SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Protection Services

  • Facility protection coverage at American Embassies in Botswana and Brazil.
  • Participated in protective services for high level events such as Embassy 4th of July events and Marine Corps Birthday Ball celebrations.
  • Responsible for the training and sustainment of a seven member response team in support of protection services for Department of State facilities.
  • Coordinated and managed the protection of sensitive information through 24/7 presence of Marine Security Guard at the Post One operations center and scheduled detail inspections of sensitive areas.
  • Managed and maintained Post One operations center to include use of CCTV, early warning detections systems, and intrusion alarm systems.
  • Deterred threats by creating Random Anti-terrorism Measuresprocedures and applied them throughout increased threat situations.
  • Created ten emergency contingency plans and two standard operating procedures to manage fire, evacuation, intruder, compound defense, and natural disasters in conjunction with embassy emergency action plans.
  • Coordinated the emergency response to five separate actual incidents involving American Embassy Gaborone and Brasilia.
  • Routinely coordinated and trained emergency medicine to response team and embassy employees.

Supervision and Management

  • Developedoperational agendas, hosted weekly operational meetings, and providedpersonnel with guidance on standard operational procedures (SOP).

Operations and Logistics

  • Maintained the accountability and readiness of all embassy defense equipment for multiple commands and successfullymanagedmultiple equipment inventories valued at over $100,000.
  • Analyzed and integrated financial, technical, procurement, and scheduling information by maintaining a professional relationship with the Budget and Finance Officer in order to progress the Detachment’s operations.
  • Verified the installation’s equipment accountability and serviceability in property assets quarterly with 100% accuracy.
  • Successfully completed five Field Supply and Maintenance Office inspection, 6 semi-annual inspections, and 1 Marine Corps Embassy Security Group audits with only 1 finding.
  • Managedweb-basedprocurement account to maintain office supplies, order required equipment, and all other functions required by the Marine Detachment.
  • Utilized basic financial and accounting principles to manage over $240,000 in Marine Corps operational 5732 funds with zero discrepancies annually.

Project Management
