99 rocky peaks surround the crater like a fortress and the gentle southern slope connected to water is a lush grassland.
On the grassland at the entrance of Sunrise Peak, you can enjoy horseback riding. Breathtaking scenic views while taking a rest in the middle of climbing up the peak such as Mount Halla, the deep blues of the ocean, the multi-colored coast line, and the picturesque neighboring villages will become unforgettable memories.

Manjang Cave, situated at Donggimnyeong-ri, Gujwa-eup, North Jeju, 30 kilometers east of Jeju City, was designated as Natural Monument No. 98 on March 28, 1970. The 7,416-meter long cave has been officially recognized as the longest lava tube in the world. The annual temperature inside the cave ranges from 11℃ to 21℃, thus facilitating a favorable environment throughout the year. The cave is also academically significant as rare species live in the cave. Created by spewing lava, "the lava turtle", "lava pillar", and "Wing-shaped Wall" look like the work of the gods. It is considered to be a world class tourist attraction.

In this multi-faceted park, the palm trees tower along the road.
The "Subtropical Garden" greenhouse showcases some rare subtropical plants and the wild plants of Jeju Island. The underground world of Hyeopjae and sangyong lava caves, designated as Natural Monument No. 236, will amaze you! At the "Jeju Stone and Bonsai Garden", you can see a large collection of bonsai trees and unique natural stones from all over the world.
The "Jaeam Folk Village" is a small-scale reproduction of Jeju Island traditional way of life. The flower festivals display different kinds of flowers and rare plants in all four seasons.

The columnar joints are situated at seashore east Jungmun Tourism Complex. Black hexagonal stone pillars are piled on top of each other; they unfold like a folding screen as if a god elaborately piled up blocks of stone. The sound of the waves crashing into the rocks is remarkably refreshing.

The island was named "Udo" or "Cow Island" as its contours look like a cow lying down on the ground. There are 8 scenic wonders of Udo: day and night(Judan-myeongwol and Yahang-eobeom), sky and earth (Cheonjin-gwansan and Jidu-cheongsa), front and back (Jeonpo-mangdo and Huhae-seokbyeok), and east and west (Dongan-gyeonggul and Seobin-baeksa)
The movie "In October" and "The mermaid" were shot at Cow Island, capitalizing on its picturesque scene of a fishing village and a lush, peaceful grassy field. The white sand beach facing the indigo and turquoise sea of Jeju is very impressive. It represents another eye-catcher along with Mt. Halla in Jeju.

Entering into the gate, you might find people gathered by two or three posing for pictures under the roof of the museum made imitating the thatched roof of Jeju house. When you step into the buseum building, you might see a big marine life at the center and natural history exhibition room is on your left where the formation of Jeju island and flora and fauna of Jeju is on display. Fauna room draws little visitors attention with stuffed animals and birds that appear to live in a small primeval forest.

San Gumburi is the government-designated Cultural Properties Natural Monument No. 264. Along with the approximately 360 parasitic volcanic cones in Jeju Island, it exploded under a geological bridge, erupting many times without any further explosions, and formed a crater with a hole. The area inside the crater is 300,000㎡ with an inside bottom circumference of 756m, an outer circumference of 2,070m, and a vertical height of 130m. It is bigger and deeper than the crater of Mount Halla.

Jutting out at the eastern seashore of Jeju Island, Seopji-Koji is one of the most scenic views with the bright yellow canola and Seongsan Sunrise Peak as a backdrop.The pristine beauty of Jeju can be seen in Seopji-koji. Sinyang Beach, a meadow filled with canola flowers, peacefully grazing Jeju ponies, a rocky sea cliff, and a towering legendary large rock (Sunbawe) all combine to make nature s masterpiece. Unlike the other coastal areas of Jeju, it has red volcanic rock (songi) and strangely-shaped rocks that at low tide transform this area into a breath-taking stone exhibition gallery.
