Purim is just around the corner – February 28th (14th of Adar) to be exact! The Sisterhood is excited to announce that we are again offering Mishloach Manot donation cards in lieu of baskets. What a wonderful way to let your friends know you are thinking about them at Purim and show your support for Temple Israel and Sisterhood.
Each Mishloach Manot card will include the name of each temple family sending that card. Every recipient will receive one beautiful card with a list of all the people sending it.
Further, if you can find it in your heart to include an additional donation to provide food for those in need, we will forward those funds to Island Harvest.
In order to participate:
· On the enclosed order form, check off the names of those who you wish to receive a Mishloach Manot greeting from you. You may send a Mishloach Manot card to anyone affiliated with our Synagogue. The cost is $10.00 for the first name on your list and $5.00 for each additional name. We will reciprocate for you. If someone has included you on their list, but their name is not on yours, we will, at your request, reciprocate by adding your name to their card and inform you of the extra cost. Be sure to check yes or no next to RECIPROCATE on the order form.
OR:
· For a set price of $136.00 you can send a Mishloach Manot card to every member on the list.
· If you want to send a card to someone not affiliated with our Synagogue you may purchase beautiful cards at a cost of $5.00 each.
